Now

This is a now page. If you’re curious what I’ve been up to, start here.

Jelly Wax

Jelly Wax is my main focus right now. We were recently featured in Byrdie’s roundup of the best at-home waxing kits as the #1 choice for sensitive skin, which was a huge moment for us. The whole point of Jelly Wax has always been to create something that actually works for people with sensitive skin, so getting that recognition felt like validation for everything we’ve been building.

I’ve also been leaning into TikTok. Our channel has generated over 25 million views, and we’re a Top Seller on TikTok Shop. I script my videos ahead of time but let whatever feels right in the moment come through when I’m filming. That authenticity is what the platform rewards.

Growing as a Founder

A couple of years ago, I stepped away from Jelly Wax completely because I was burned out. I was trying to do everything myself and didn’t know what I was doing with the financial side. That break lasted almost two years, and it was the most important business decision I’ve ever made. I came back with a clearer head, better practices, and a partner who’s become both a personal and business ally.

The three biggest lessons I’ve taken away: master your finances, surround yourself with the right people, and don’t skip the hard stuff.

Life in Austin

I live in Austin, Texas with my partner. Outside of Jelly Wax, I still run Project Pollywog, a jewelry brand that supports frog conservation. We were featured on the Breaching Extinction Podcast talking about our mission to help endangered frog species. Conservation is something I care about, and Pollywog lets me stay connected to that.
